Radiator Cost Allocators
Autonomy per room – the fair distribution of costs
Consumption is measured with meters (cost allocators) placed on each radiator. No additional plumbing or electrical installation is needed and their installation time is less than half an hour for each apartment, while reading the measurements is done without visiting the apartment. Body meters are certified heating cost distribution measuring devices and are not tampered with. They have specifications in line with those imposed by the European Union (DIN, EN, ELOT) and the guarantee of the German technology QUNDIS GmbH.
The heating of the apartment is controlled by a thermostatic switch which replaces the upper body switch and automatically adjusts the heating operation according to the temperature selected for each room. Different temperatures can be selected for each room, e.g. living room 20°C, rooms 18°C, bathroom 22°C with direct effect on energy savings.
It is worth noting that each degree of lower room temperature results in approximately 6% lower consumption.
The operation of the central boiler is controlled by a compensation system. The compensation automatically configures the operation of the boiler to cover the demand for heating that exists at any moment in combination with the outside temperature of the environment. A differential pressure valve must be installed in the boiler room, which protects the installation from high pressures created when there is no heating demand.
The combination of cost allocators and thermostatic heads in each radiator, as well as a compensation controller that regulates the temperature of the water in the central piping, provides the building with maximum energy savings, autonomy at room level, and fair distribution of costs based on actual energy consumption.
Advantages of an autonomy system with cost allocators:
1. Fair distribution of heating costs, you are charged only for what you consumed.
2. Maximum comfort, you have heating in any room you want, at the desired temperature and for as long as you need it.
3. Easy and quick installation, no conversion of the existing heating installation, no wiring, no digging, no piping.
4. Very simple to use, simply set the desired temperature.
5. Reliable and unalterable measurement recording process, the cost allocators have high technology that ensures the immutability of the measurement recording process.
