The German KERMI series flow radiators were designed with the aim of achieving top energy efficiency and high aesthetics.

Serial streaming makes all the difference!

A new concept for more rational exploitation of heat is the basis of the creation of the new KERMI X2 panel heaters Unlike the classic bodies of type 12/21, 22, and 33, where the flow of hot water takes place in parallel on all two or three plates, in the KERMI X2 bodies the flow of hot water is carried out in sequence, passing first from the plate visible to the heated space, and successively to the second or even the third plate. This simple but "wise" change of the water path inside the radiator ensures better and more efficient operation, since:

– The front plate heats up first, almost immediately.
– The front plate maintains a higher average temperature throughout the operation of the central heating.
– In conditions of moderate cold, thus the typical operation of the heating, the performance of the front plate is sufficient, while the back plate of the body is barely warmed up.
– In conditions of strong cold and consequently increased operation of the heating system, heat also develops in the back plates, so they also contribute to the adequate heating of the space.

How KERMI achieves serial streaming!

KERMI places a hose on the water return that diverts the water to the front plate and thus achieves serial flow.

Compared to common steel panel heaters, the radiant efficiency of KERMI X2 heaters, at the basic operating level, is: 1.5 times higher for types 12/21 and 22, and twice as much for type 33.
