GMV5 Home is a new generation of multi-split VRF system developed by GREE, integrating central air conditioning, domestic hot water, and heating with a variable refrigerant flow outdoor unit (mini VRF), direct expansion DX indoor unit,s and a hot water production unit for heating and use. In addition, it is possible to connect a GREE 200/300-liter domestic hot water storage tank.
The 2 versions of GMV5 Home are designed to cover:
1. The demand for air conditioning and domestic hot water production
2. The demand for air conditioning, domestic hot water production, and floor/panel heating.

Heat Recovery
• The operating principle of heat recovery is based on the use of heat extracted from the space in cooling mode and channeled into the domestic water to heat it.
• The GMV5 Home uses this technology to produce domestic hot water, reducing the cost of producing hot water to a minimum.

3D Heating
With the 3D Heating function, heating can be carried out simultaneously via underfloor heating, panel radiators, or fan coils together with the GMV indoor units. This achieves much faster air conditioning of the space, optimizes comfort, and increases the efficiency of the system.

High efficiency and energy saving:
With heat recovery, 3D heating, and smart defrost carried out with the stored energy of the domestic hot water, the GMV5 Home guarantees maximum comfort in the space with the lowest consumption.

Direct expansion of indoor units
• The indoor units are compatible with Gree's VRF GMV system, adding flexibility and scalability to provide a solution for the most demanding applications.

It is possible to precisely and separately adjust the temperature in different rooms or zones of the house, guaranteeing a high level of comfort and energy savings.

Applications
Ideal solution for apartments, and small single-family homes that require cooling, heating, and domestic hot water with an outdoor unit, but also for small professional applications where the use of heat recovery from cooling for DHW production can ensure high efficiency and energy savings.
In full heat recovery mode, for "cooling + DHW", the COP can reach up to 10.
With the DC Inverter Technology developed by GREE, the system operation becomes smarter and more energy efficient.
