Natural Gas is a mixture of hydrocarbon gases, which is extracted from underground cavities under high pressure and transported to the places where it is to be used as it is, without the need for further processing.
Natural Gas is par excellence ecological energy since it does not contain sulfur compounds, which are among the main causes of environmental pollution. Indeed, its combustion produces essentially only water vapor and carbon dioxide, thus constituting the cleanest and least polluting primary energy source available today. Natural Gas, the "blue" energy, is the energy of the future.
Natural Gas is colorless and odorless: its characteristic odor is given at the distribution stage in order to make its presence noticeable.
