Hitachi Frost Wash Technology:
Indoor units recirculate the air in the room, but after a long period of use, they collect dust and bacteria. The annual cleaning of the Unit's Filters is no longer enough, as smaller particles and pollutants accumulate in other parts of the unit with more difficult access, such as the Heat exchanger, causing odors and reducing the efficiency of the air conditioner.
Hitachi's new advanced Frost Wash Technology cleans the unit's heat exchanger, giving you clean air!
How does it work;During the operation of the unit, the air passing through the exchanger causes the accumulation of dust and bacteria. The operation is carried out manually or automatically, as long as no presence is detected in the room.
Cleanliness & Hygiene in three steps:1. Air humidity accumulates in the exchanger, while it cools down to -15oC, trapping dust and bacteria.
2. The thick layer of ice formed melts away the trapped particles.
3. The exchanger is now clean and the passing air keeps the environment healthy.
