A new technology permanent magnet motor,
limited noise allows the energy consumption of the COMFORT PM series to be reduced by up to 5-8.5 W. Combined with the intelligent AUTOADAPT function, it sets new standards in energy-efficient water recirculation in private homes.

Thanks to the highly efficient new permanent magnet motor, the COMFORT range now has two new models for hot water recirculation. With a consumption of only 5-8.5 W, both the COMFORT pump with AUTOADAPT and the constant speed COMFORT B pump can significantly reduce power consumption. In fact, the cost of electricity to run on the AUTOADAPT program amounts to just €1-2* per year. Compared to conventional circulators that run continuously, this equates to a cost reduction of up to 96 %. In addition, the saving in thermal energy amounts to 48 %.

The basic principle of AUTOADAPT The basic principle of the AUTOADAPT function is to
very simple reality. Within just a few weeks, the COMFORT pump learns the pattern in which the household consumes hot water and adapts to it. The stored data ensures that the pump only runs when needed, which significantly reduces water and power wastage. In the event of a change in the consumption pattern, for example, during a holiday, the COMFORT circulator detects immobility after 24 hours and automatically adapts to holiday mode. When the tenants return, the smart circulator will automatically assume the same consumption pattern it had before the vacation. Consequently, access to instant hot water is always available.

Reduction in water wastage
All COMFORT pumps – with or without the AUTOADAPT function – combined with one
return pipe provide instant hot water throughout the house. This eliminates the
expensive and annoying waiting until the hot water comes and reduces the
annual consumption of domestic water. The result is lower costs while
at the same time, the comfort of immediately available hot water is ensured.

Easy installation
The COMFORT BA pump with auto adapt and the COMFORT B continuous pump are both compact and designed to greatly facilitate installation, even in confined spaces. As they both feature the famous ALPHA plug, all you need to do is plug in and they start working.

OBS:
The AUTOADAPT function has been developed for domestic hot water systems with the boiler as the main heating source. In domestic hot water systems with integrated temperature control for increasing and decreasing the temperature in the recirculation pipe, Grundfos recommends the use of the COMFORT BX or COMFORT model B.
